The Inside Housing Management Podcast has been crowned best podcast at this year’s International Building Press (IBP) Awards.

The podcast, which is co-hosted by Inside Housing Management editor Anna Highfield and Inside Housing deputy features editor Katharine Swindells, and produced by digital production editor Lucy Brown, was named 2025’s Podcast of the Year at the awards in November.
Announcing the winner, the IBP judges said the Inside Housing Management Podcast “included a great deal of important, interesting and exclusive content, was snappy, very well-researched and clearly had a targeted focus”.
They added: “It demonstrated very strong original journalism and felt like a great conversation between knowledgeable presenters who clearly knew their stuff. A really good listen.”
The podcast was launched as part of Inside Housing Management in April 2025, with new episodes recorded every fortnight.
Each episode delves into a different challenge facing housing management staff and explores best practice for tackling it, with an exclusive interview every episode.
Inside Housing Management editor Anna Highfield said: “We’ve worked incredibly hard on the Inside Housing Management Podcast since its launch in April, with hours going into every episode to secure exclusive content and interviews, so it was amazing to see the IBP judges recognise what a valuable resource it is for our housing management audience.”
